Our founding fathers all were patriots. It was John Adams that upon the urging of Samuel Adams, that he represent MA. in Philadelphia to discuss the ongoing problems faced by the colonists. John's MA colony was in deep heated revolts against the king, it was these revolts that caused him to stand up before all the representatives in Philadelphia to urging them to take that step which would begin the Revolution of 1776. All of them knew that by signing the Declaration of Independence, they were putting their lives in jeopardy, many did lose their lives for the cause. Patriots are indeed men [women] with strong convictions and love for their country.

Today is a time that Thomas Jefferson and John Adams foresaw. They believed there would be at time that this democracy would begin to commit suicide. This suicide is more easily done when the people of the united States are not educated on what is going one within. Lack of such knowledge causes a breakdown and gives an over-taker the ability to take over without notice. Just look at the American people as a majority, most do not read the news, watch the news, listen to commentators or other media avenues, they are uninterested how current events are caused; rather they are concerned with pleasure, entertainment and their immediate family's lives. Such people have never been conditioned to have a conviction for love of country; for which others have fought and died to keep them free and their liberties in tact.

It is time for all to be told by mouth or written word that should your liberties be just in your mind and heart then with honor and patriotism then such liberties shall be defended; against anyone that stands in the way of removing such liberties from us. Should you consider yourself a patriot you must find in yourself the fortitude to spread the word of our Republic's liberties to all. Education of the people will be our defense against the over-takers of this Republic of the United States of America.
