These are great pictures from the Tax Day Tea Party in Greenwich, CT. I
unfortunately did not get pictures [myself] of the Hartford or New Haven tea
party in CT but if anyone has any tea party pictures with comments accompanying
them to send to us, please do.
I do want to say that all the people that I met were by far the friendliest
Americans I have ever met. There was no one that I met that had any hate towards
anyone or any group, their concerns all were with how things were handled and in
which direction their country was going. Everyone wanted correct change in our
government, small government, with less involvement in our lives. There was no
hate towards government nor towards Obama, this is simply not the case, it is
simply not about Obama, if he wants it to be about him, we are sorry, it is not
about him. The problems we are having has been coming long before Obama,
Washington corruption has been corrupt for a long time and it is just this that
has allow such things to fester and brew until it has not boiled over where the
people have had quite enough. This administration is just not going to do
anything about fixing things, it is about making things worse; the people know
it and the tea parties are showing this administration the people are fed up.
What I found was that at every tea party there was a large group of people
from every walk of life, rich and poor, middle class, employed and unemployed,
many just lost jobs, there were democrats, republicans, libertarians and
independents. People from all races, all creeds, and all ages. It was a
wonderful mix or was it? I rather think that it was a wonderful group of
Americans and that is exactly what they wanted to be called, a group of
Americans, a group of patriots, who love their country, who love their
constitution and where all there to support their right to be there, along with
all their other rights.
God Bless America
