Don't blame the gas
station. His gas comes in at higher and higher prices too.
What can you do to help the rising costs?
Many will tell you to cut back, change the way you live. This is not
progressive thinking. While we should conserve energy and we should do
things to help conserve fuel in order to keep the high cost of fuel from
eating up our incomes, living as though we are going into the 19th century
rather than 21st century is not the answer. While horses are cute and riding
them is great fun for most, getting to work on a horse will not cut it. Nor,
will riding a bicycle for most get you to work on time, if you live too far
from work or weather conditions don't cooperate. Walking might be fine if
you live close to work but not for most. Mass transportation is fine if you
live in areas that provide it. By all means if you can do it, then go right
ahead but for the general population that live too far removed from mass
transit the automobile or truck is the only method to get to work or where
ever you need to go to get living done.
So, the answer is to live progressively. That is, to live normally and
get there using energy sources that have tapped into technology designed for
the 21st century. We must be future thinkers and future doers.
Now, how do we get around now?
Well, learn ways to get your car or truck to use gasoline more
efficiently. Decide to start to thinking about converting or changing fuel
sources for one car or truck. Look, read and research on what new technology
might be good for you. Many new cars are coming on the lots that offer a
hybrid or other energy source to get it on the highway. Many solutions are
experimental and if you are the type to be adventurous then you will find a
lot of alternatives here.
